Jayme Hodges is a native of Southwest Florida and received her Master of Social Work degree in 2005 from Florida Gulf Coast University located in Fort Myers, Florida.  She has spent the past 15+ years working in various Healthcare settings including Acute Medical Care, Hospice Care, Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalization, and Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment.

She has experience providing individual therapy, group therapy, and couples counseling, and has treated various mental health diagnosis including Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Grief & Loss, Acute and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and Insomnia.

Jayme’s approach to treatment focuses on mutual collaboration, empowerment, and challenging perceptions of self, others, and situations to assist clients in reframing unhelpful thinking styles, understanding underlying emotions, and learning to recognize what they have control over and what they do not. She values the importance of starting where the client is while working together to move forward on the path of health, wellness, and healing. Treatment modalities include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy), Insight Oriented Therapy, and Adlerian Therapy.
