Featured Clinicians

Marianne, LCSW, is a psychotherapist in New York. She received her Masters of Social Work from Fordham, where she interned at a dialysis center and did short-term therapy for members of NYC’s District 37 union. Marianne went on to attend postgraduate training in a four-year program at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Marianne worked in finance for over a decade before transitioning careers. She has helped individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions and career dissatisfaction. Through therapy, they have been able to rework patterns and behaviors that were no longer serving them. Marianne is particularly interested in how social and cultural factors shape people’s experiences, especially in regards to race, sexuality, gender, religion and other aspects of feeling marginalized. While her approach is informed by psychoanalysis, Marianne believes in an individualized treatment, specific to the client, and she also brings in elements of CBT and mindfulness.
