Renee Garnier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona. She completed her Master’s in Social Work at University of Buffalo. Over the last 10 years, she has worked in multiple clinical settings including community mental health outpatient and in home therapy. She specializes in working with adults, young adults, adolescents, couples, and families in the areas of anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, improving communication, building coping skills, and working towards goals to improve quality of life. She is trained in traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. She uses a combination of therapeutic techniques to increase both self-awareness and insight as well as skill building and coping strategies. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is a key to successful treatment and aims to create a collaborative, open, and safe therapy environment.
She will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan based on your unique needs. Clinical areas of expertise: Depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, marriage/couples and families, bipolar disorder(s), life transitions, grief and bereavement.
