I have been providing individual, family and couples counseling and therapy to individuals in all populations including children, adolescents, and adults for over ten years. I have experience working with individuals with challenges related to emotional regulation and mood disorders including anxiety and depression. I have experience with working with those impacted by traumatic experiences and now experiencing symptoms of PTSD. I enjoy focusing on the challenges individuals have within their relationships, both familial and social, and helping clients improve their ability to maintain healthy social interactions. I have worked extensively with youth with challenging behaviors, involvement with the juvenile justice system, problematic decision-making skills, and peer relationship challenges. My passion is working with individuals who are seeking to make change and I am energized by the opportunities I have to work toward that success! I place a strong emphasis on developing positive working relationships with my clients as we begin to develop goals for treatment. I believe the process of creating a secure working relationship contributes to the overall success of the treatment and it allows for the building of trust necessary for our work to develop. Making the decision to seek out help from a therapist is not reached easily and I would encourage you to follow that great decision with another and ask you to choose a therapist who has the experience, drive, and care to provide you with the best treatment you can find.
